Career in Engineering
An introduction to engineering careers in the region — what the work looks like and how to get into it.
Encouraging women across the Humber to consider a career in the manufacturing, engineering, construction, digital and renewables industries.
After many successful years of hosting a daytime event for school groups, the doors are once again being opened to the public - this year from 3:30pm to 6:00pm.
Come along and meet women from across the region who work for companies in the manufacturing, engineering, construction, digital, and renewables sectors. Speak to them about their careers, the companies they work for, the industries they work in, and why you should consider joining them.
You’ll be able to find out more about current and future job vacancies, learn about their apprenticeship opportunities, and discover what qualifications and training you’ll need to work in their industries.
In addition, attendees will be offered a free session on transferable skills. Many people don't realise that they already possess valuable strengths and transferable skills that can help them stand out to potential employers and training providers. This free session will help you identify them and give you the confidence to discuss them.
Who is the event for?
