22/05/2026
The Hull and East Yorkshire Local Skills Improvement Plan (HEY LSIP) team is delighted to announce that the next Forum will take place on Monday 6 July at East Riding College's Beverley Campus.
We are thrilled that our friends and colleagues
at TEC Partnership have offered to host the event.
The Forum will run from 10:00am until
1:00pm followed by lunch.
We are finalising the agenda over the next week or
two, and we will confirm this along with further timings and arrangements
nearer the time of the event.
Already we have a number of enthusiastic speakers and interesting topics lined up including;
- a focus on the importance of leadership and management, with real life stories
- a the positive impact of the voluntary sector in helping people get into work and providing the wraparound support needed for working life
- the exciting plans for STEMfest 2027 taking place in Hull – a “not to miss” event!
- an update on HEY LSIP 2.0 including our innovative approach to the management of the key themes
As always with our Forums, a key output is the
value of networking and collaboration and we have seen many productive examples
of this over the years.
There will be more to talk to you about on the day,
and once we have agreed the content with other stakeholders and partners, we
will update our communication to you.
Please do get in touch via email if there are topics that you would
like to see covered and we will do what we can to include them at this or
future forums.
Please register here as early as possible to secure your
place.
