The Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce's Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) team are pleased to announce that their next Quarterly Forum will be taking place on Friday 13^th September 2024 from 8.00am (for an 8.45am start) until 11.30am at Bishop Burton College, York Rd, Bishop Burton, Beverley HU17 8QG. A free light breakfast will be provided.

Our Outline Agenda will cover these topics

• Ensuring Hull & East Yorkshire lead the way in responding to employer feedback on careers guidance.
• Raising awareness of local opportunities.
• Describing how we will work with other LSIPs nationally to address key challenges and opportunities highlighted during this forum.
• Hearing from local careers professionals.
• We will also be showcasing how SDF & LSIF funding has been invested to support local training and provision, including: Off Grid systems;  Battery Vehicles and Robots; Anaerobic Digestion; VISR Stage platform Virtual Reality; and Harvest-lab Slurry Application

Why is it important?

Employer feedback has been vital in the development of our LSIP and we want to ensure our LSIP continues to be led by employers and we represent your voice. Therefore, we look to gain your input to help check, inform and help shape our plans for taking the LSIP forward and provide a platform for you to share your views.
