Kings Trust - practical support and opportunities to help young people aged 16-30

Whether they are leaving education, finishing exams, looking for work, changing direction or simply feeling unsure about the future, every young person’s starting point is different. Rather than telling them what their future should look like, The King’s Trust is here to offer practical support and opportunities to help young people aged 16-30 take their next step towards a brighter future. 

For young people aged 16-25 looking to build confidence, personal development courses like Explore and Team give them the chance to try new experiences, meet new people, and grow their skills. They’ll also get to take part in fun team-building activities, a community project, and an action-packed residential trip.

Their Get Started programmes are perfect for young people aged 16-30 looking to discover new interests and plan their next steps. They’ll get to choose from an incredible range of interesting topics, including sport, arts, community skills and much more. Working with a group of like-minded people, and with support from inspirational experts, young people will discover their strengths, overcome challenges and grow confidence.

The King’s Trust also work with top UK employers to deliver our Get Ready and Get into programmes, which give young people the chance to gain invaluable work experience, boost their employability skills, and even get the chance to interview for further training opportunities, apprenticeships and live roles.

For budding entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30, their Enterprise programme can provide the guidance and support they need to launch their own business.  With expert-led workshops, one-to-one support, and opportunities to apply for funding, we provide the necessary tools to create a strong business plan and establish a successful company.
